Hello, my name is Toni; I understand! As someone who has been impacted by past traumatic experiences, I overcame many challenges and learned how to help others do the same. My personal and professional experiences give me a unique perspective and a deep sense of empathy. I take pride in providing a safe, non-judgmental and authentic space where people can explore, renegotiate, and make meaning out of past experiences. I will meet you where you are in your journey and support you in reaching your goals. I am committed to providing trauma-informed, anti-racism, and gender-affirming care. You are not alone!
More about my professional experiences: I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Social Work, with a focus on integrative health. My professional clinical experiences began in Detroit where I worked as a children’s substance abuse therapist. More recently, I have worked as a trauma therapist supporting individuals and families. I have received professional certificates in DBT, TF-CBT, and I am a certified EMDRIA-approved EMDR-trained therapist. Before pursuing my career as a therapist I worked in community organizing, a holistic health coach and as a trauma-informed yoga teacher. These diverse experiences have enriched my understanding of the human experience and inform my approach to therapy.
